Welcome, and thank you for your interest in TGS!

Since 1911, Gunston's 75-acre waterfront campus has been an ideal location for students to experience a challenging and highly personalized educational experience. With a culture of high expectations, small class sizes, a highly skilled faculty, a wide-ranging extracurricular program, and a focus on individual ethical development, Gunston provides each student with ample individual attention and a chance to fulfill their unique intellectual, artistic, and athletic interests. All of this occurs in a spectacular natural setting attached to the Chesapeake Bay.

As a school dedicated to preparing the next generation of scholars, citizens, and leaders, we are pleased that you would like to learn more about our school. Although exploring our website will help you learn more about our philosophy and mission, the best way to experience all that is Gunston is to visit our extraordinary campus. We invite you to visit during any of our Open House events, or schedule a personal tour at your convenience. Personalization is one of the key words in our mission statement, and we strive to provide each child and family with a comprehensive, informative, and engaging visit and tour.

Gunston seeks young adults of good character who have exhibited both the motivation and ability to succeed in a challenging college preparatory course of study. It is also important to us that our students understand, respect, and embrace the philosophy of Gunston, and possess the talents, motivation, and interest to contribute to our dynamic community. Our application and accompanying forms are downloadable, and can be found on the 'The Admission Process' page of the website. If you have any questions, or you would like to schedule a tour, please contact me at 410-758-0620, ext 1104, or at dhenry@gunston.org.

I look forward to meeting and assisting you in the application process.

Sincerely,
