Gunston's program is very strong, and is unique in the sense that each student's artistic development is nurtured individually by our Art Department. While we have a strong focus on teaching the fundamentals of art, our program is driven by the strengths and interests of each student. Whether a student is interested in pottery, silkscreen, woodcarving, or photography, either traditional or digital, our Art faculty works with every student to develop their artistic voice. At Gunston, we see the development of each student's artistic sensibility and ability to appreciate beauty as an integral part of their educational experience.
