Gunston Academic Team wins tournament championship

On Saturday, October 6th, Gunston's Academic Team emerged as champions of the Joppatowne Invitational Academic Team Tournament in Joppa, MD. With the score tied 190-190 against C. Milton Wright in the playoff finals, junior captain Andrew Amygdalos answered three of the five final questions to earn Gunston's first-ever all-tournament crown. Amygdalos was also the tournament's overall high scorer.

The Gunston School launches innovative new program, the Chesapeake Watershed Semester

On a perfect summer evening in August, the launch of the Chesapeake Watershed Semester was celebrated with a gathering of students, families, partners, and supporters. Gunston partners with Wharton professor to develop student leadership program

As part of an effort to further enhance the school's student leadership development program, Gunston is partnering with Dr. Stewart D. Friedman to develop an innovative student leadership curriculum. Dr. Friedman is the Practice Professor of Management at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and the founding director of both the Wharton Leadership Program and the Wharton Work/Life Initiative.
