“In our game vs Salisbury Christian on 1/10, the girls fought back from a 17 point deficit in the fourth quarter for the victory! We were led by Julia McClary ’23 with 15 points and Lucy Bamford ’22 with 8. A HUGE shout out to Danielle Simmons ’22 who hit the game-winning 3 point shot with 7 seconds remaining to come with a 33-32 win. Great team defense down the end! We did lose a tough game to the top team in the ESIAC in Delmarva Christian yesterday but we improved from the previous match up. Tough play by Caitlin Myers, Zoe Buzzelli, and Brielle Tyler kept us in the game.” - Coach Aikin

Looking ahead to Friday’s game…

“The Gunston Lady Hoopsters, fresh off a big win on Monday, are gearing up for one of the year's biggest games. We will be traveling to Holy Grove on  Friday, for a Boys and Girls double header. We have developed quite a rivalry in recent years. It may not be the Ravens/Steelers, but don't tell that to our teams. Here's to yet another "double win" this Friday!” - Coach Clemens
