Swimming

Gunston's swim team had quite a busy week, with the girls traveling to Salisbury on Monday and both teams traveling to Kent Island on Tuesday. Some highlights include a personal best and Gunston school record in the 500 Freestyle by Kate Seybert '25, a second place finish in the 100 Backstroke by Preston Allen '27, and a second place 100 Butterfly finish by Bridget Walden '28. Team Captains, Kaz Morris '25 and Kate Seybert '25 have done a great job demonstrating exceptional leadership skills by leading pre- and post- meet chats and chants (as shown in the picture), helping with warm-up sets, keeping their teammates up to date on event roster changes, and even helping the coaches make sure the meets run smoothly. Wish our boys luck on Friday, as they will be traveling to Annapolis to swim against Key School!
