Each spring, Gunston students eagerly await the arrival of their yearbooks. Holding true to a long-time tradition, the students are unaware of when or how they will receive them.
Methods in previous years have included delivery by hot air balloon, glider plane, and a fire truck. This year's ploy—was a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new waterfront.
The Yearbook Staff dedicates the book to a member of the Gunston Community—this year Mr. Ben Dize holds the honor. During the Yearbook Ceremony, the students gave accolades to Mr. Dize for the continuous hard work, dedication, and support he gives to his students, advisees, and fellow faculty members. In addition, the yearbook was published in appreciation of the English Dept Chair Amanda Newell, an outstanding advisor, teacher, writer, and mentor.
