Congratulations to Caden Quirion, who is officially heading to Clarkson University this fall!

After receiving an impressive lineup of acceptances from schools like Virginia Tech, RPI, RIT, and UMD College Park, Caden is ready to take his talents to New York. Throughout his time by the waterfront, he has perfectly balanced high-level academics, endurance athletics, and STEM leadership.

 member of the National Honor Society, Caden consistently maintained top-tier academic standing, earning High Honors. When he wasn't hitting the books, Caden was pushing his limits across three different endurance sports. As a core member of the Gunston Triathlon team, he successfully conquered his first full triathlon at the Nanticoke Multisport Festival. He was also a top-podium varsity swimmer specializing in the 100-yard breaststroke and a dedicated Cross Country runner who set his personal-best time at the MIAA Conference Championships.

Caden also brought his leadership to the tech lab as a senior anchor for the "Gunston Gearios" FTC Robotics team. A proud ambassador for the school's STEM programs, he helped lead community outreach efforts by showcasing the team’s custom-built robots to crowds at the Lower Eastern Shore STEM Festival.
