¡Enhorabuena to Paula Ruiz San Valentin on her commitment to Francisco de Vitoria University!

Since joining Gunston as a junior from Madrid, Spain, Paula has made an impact on our community as a dedicated scholar and an incredibly active multi-sport athlete. Paula completely immersed herself in Heron athletics, competing across three different sports during her time by the waterfront. She was a dynamic midfielder and forward for Varsity Field Hockey, anchored the Varsity Girls’ Tennis roster (and served as team manager) and also tried competitive swimming for the first time.

Academically, Paula has been a standout, balancing Gunston's rigorous college-preparatory curriculum to earn an induction into the National Honor Society. Her exceptional leadership and commitment on the field didn't go unnoticed. Paula was honored nationally as a selection for the NFHCA High School Impact Senior Team, a prestigious recognition celebrating her excellence, service, and leadership. We are so proud of you, Paula, and wish you the exact same success back in Madrid!
