On Saturday, November 19th, Gunston’s Academic Team traveled to Georgetown University for an all-day regional tournament. The Gunston A team finished 2nd among small school competitors, which will likely once again qualify the team for the NAQT Small School National Championships in Chicago in April.  The Gunston B team finished 3rd among small schools, and 7th in their division. The top scorer for the A team was Senior Zach Mozher, and for the B Team Maren Kneeland. Mr. Lewis, the team’s coach, shared, “We had a great day on a beautiful campus. The team fought hard all day, and we had some impressive results.”
