On Saturday, November 4th, Gunston's Academic Team went to Johns Hopkins University for their annual Blue Jay tournament. During the tournament, junior Justin McCubbin passed the 1,000 point mark, becoming only the 5th Gunston student to reach that career milestone. Also competing were Senior Trevor Green and Juniors Louise Mulock, Lily Brantner, and Margaret Randolph. Gunston competed against some of the strongest schools in the region, garnering multiple wins on the road to a good finish.
