Hello, my name Is Lilli Ward and I am a junior here at Gunston. Recently I have been thinking about ways that I can help within the community. I began to think about Johns Hopkins Hospital because when I was younger I spent a lot of time at Johns Hopkins. When I was eleven years old, I was admitted to Johns Hopkins and diagnosed with a rare disease called Guillian Barré Syndrome.
Mr. Bamford’s ninth grade students recently completed a creative individual project focused on the novel Great Expectations by Charles Dickens. Students picked from a variety of options centered around four different themes including technology, art, writing, and a hands-on activity.
Hi, my name is Nina, and I’m a senior at Gunston. Distance learning is new for most Gunston students, including me, and this experience has taught me a whole new way to go to school. Personally, I have enjoyed the new experience of distance learning and I’m taking everything one step at a time. Shoutouts to Mr. Lewis, Mrs. Grabis, and all of our teachers for their support during this crazy time. Being stuck at home is not an ideal way to finish out senior year, but I’m making the best of things and enjoying everything I can from home.
