Open House RSVP & Shadow Day Visits
Your Gunston Experience Starts Here.
The best way to experience Gunston is to visit our waterfront 75-acre campus. Gunston’s open house features a tour of the facilities, a live Q&A with current students, and a special presentation by our Head of School. You’ll have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with students, faculty, and staff members about what makes Gunston so special.

Shadow Day Visits
Shadow day visits can also be scheduled for potential Gunston applicants. Scheduled throughout the fall and winter as part of the admission’s process, visiting students would have the opportunity to be hosted by a Gunston student, attend 3-4 classes, and be able to experience Gunston firsthand. A student interview with the Director of Admission will also take place.
Scheduling links to Shadow Visits are below. Please note that shadow visits can easily be customized to best fit the visiting family's schedule, so if you do not see a day/time that you prefer, just contact the Admissions Office via email or call 410-758-0620, ext 1104, to arrange your visit.
We have designed the visits to take place October-April during the following days/time slots*:
Mondays: 8:50 am - 11:45 am OR 11:50 am - 2:40 pm
Tuesdays: 8:30 am - 11:25 am OR 12:15 pm - 2:35 pm
Wednesdays: 12:15 pm - 2:35 pm
Thursdays: 8:30 am - 11:25 am OR 12:15 pm - 2:35 pm
Fridays: 8:50 am - 11:25 am
*The time slots above allow for a 10-minute review of the schedule prior to visiting classes, and a 15-minute student interview at the conclusion of the visit. Shadow visits are available to any student (grades 8-11) applying for the following school year.
The 55 members of the class of 2024 were accepted to 153 colleges and universities, earning nearly $12 million dollars in merit scholarships.
