Open House RSVP & Shadow Day Visits

Your Gunston Experience Starts Here.

The best way to experience Gunston is to visit our waterfront 35-acre campus. Gunston’s open house features a tour of the facilities, a live Q&A with current students, and a special presentation by our Head of School. You’ll have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with students, faculty, and staff members about what makes Gunston so special.

Personal Tours & Shadow Day Visits

If you can not attend an open house and would like to schedule a personal tour of the campus, please contact David Henry, Director of Admission at 410-758-0620, ext 1104, dhenry@gunston.org.

Shadow day visits can also be scheduled for potential Gunston applicants. Scheduled throughout the fall and winter as part of the admission’s process, visiting students would have the opportunity to be hosted by a Gunston student, attend two classes, and be able to experience Gunston firsthand - a student interview with the Director of Admission would also take place. We have designed the visits to take place October-April during the following days/time slots*:

Mondays:  8:10-10:40,  9:00-11:30,  12:00-2:20

Tuesdays & Thursdays:  8:40-11:10,  9:15-11:10,  12:25-2:20

Wednesdays:  12:25-2:20

Fridays:  8:40-11:10, 9:15-11:10

*Please note that shadow visits can be customized to best fit the visiting family's schedule - just contact the Admissions Office to arrange your visit.

Shadow visits are available to any student (grades 8-11) applying for the following school year.
