Field Hockey
On Friday, September 18, Herons Field Hockey welcomed St. Mary’s Ryken to campus for the GPA Fall Family Tailgate. Freshman Isla Medrano opened the scoring in the 2nd quarter. Mary Gordon ‘29 scored twice, and Captain Gabi Shepherd ‘27 added a fourth goal for the Herons. The final score was 4-0. Medrano was awarded Harold the Heron for scoring the opening goal and adding momentum to the game. The team continues to improve each game, and we are excited to be back in action for a conference game against Delmarva Christian on Thursday, September 24.
