7:15 a.m. Coaches & Coxswain's Meeting
First Race begins at 8:30 a.m.
Registration Fee: $30 per Double, $75 per Four, $100 for an eight. 

Join us on the Corsica River for a 1,500-meter sprint style race with 4’s and 8’s, Men & Women’s Varsity, JV and Novice event categories. Spectators are welcome to bring chairs and/or blankets. Awards ceremony to follow at conclusion of races. Gunston’s 75-acre waterfront campus is a smoke/vape, alcohol, and drug-free campus. Leashed dogs are welcome, owners must clean up after their pets. Restroom facilities and ample parking is available.

Participation Assumption of Risk & Release

Participants understand that there are inherent risks of personal injury by participating in the Maryland State High School Rowing Championship at The Gunston School.

By signing below, participants voluntarily assume and accept such risks of personal injury and loss, illness, theft or damage of personal property arising from participation in these activities.

By checking this box, I release the School, its Trustees, employees and agents from all claims, liability and damages for personal injuries or property damage, illness, loss or theft resulting from my participation. Participants agree that this release includes personal injury or loss, theft or damage of personal property caused by or resulting from negligence, active or passive, of the School, its Trustees, employees and agents; however the release does not apply to liability for gross negligence, willful injury, or fraud, and is not intended to release the School’s insurers, if any, or non-agent third parties of any responsibility for any claims that may otherwise be asserted.
