A Note on Attendance

Please remember that the school day begins at 8:10 a.m. daily. All students should arrive on campus with the buses around 8:00 a.m., in time to gather their materials and meet their advisors for attendance by 8:10 a.m. When there is a delayed opening, please arrive around 9:50 a.m., as delay attendance is taken at 10:00 a.m.

We depend on parents to communicate promptly with Trish Rudolfs  office@gunston.org in the office when students have a legitimate excuse for late arrival, such as a doctor's appointment or concern about driving conditions.

This morning check-in is of significant importance; students who report to advisory or morning meeting after 8:10 a.m. will serve a lunch detention that day unless a parent confirms an excusable absence with the office. Whether a student is dropped off or drives to school, we will excuse unforeseen situations that are beyond a student's control. Thank you for your assistance in keeping our students to a high standard and for your prompt communication whenever absence, late arrival, or early departure is necessary.
