Gunston to Participate in Centreville Christmas Parade

Gunston students, led by the SGA, are invited to participate in the Centreville Christmas Parade on Friday, December 7 (rain/snow date: December 14). The theme of this year's parade is The Greatest gift of All. Gunston's float will feature the diversity of our Gunston community.

Donations of miniature candy canes to hand out during the parade, as well as toy donations for Toys for Tots, may be brought to the front desk or given to Caroline Roser.

All participants should sign up with Mrs. Hock in advance and plan to arrive in costume at Queen Anne's County High School no later than 5:30 p.m., with pick-up at QACHS around 8:15 p.m. When students arrive, they should check in with Mr. Wiening, and check out before departing after the parade.

If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Wiening or Mrs. Hock.

Seniors and Families,

As you complete your applications, you should receive admissions portal information for all of your colleges. I strongly suggest creating a spreadsheet to keep all of the information regarding how to access your admissions portals in one place.

Please remember to email me when you receive decisions regarding your college admission applications or any scholarships you receive. This information will be used to assist future seniors in their college admissions process. Thanks to your help, they will have a better idea regarding their odds for acceptance at particular institutions and what they can anticipate when it comes to financing their education.  Your personal information won't be shared with others, but the admissions and scholarship data will be extremely helpful to future classes. Thank you for your help with this!

Heron Annual Fund

Thank you for your support of the 2017-2018 Heron Fund. With your help, we raised over $184,000 for our students and 84% of parents participated!

Help us reach $200,000 and 100% parent participation in 2018-2019. Your generous gift to the Heron Fund helps provide vital funds for our students' education and we rely on parent participation to close the nearly $5,000 gap between tuition and the actual cost of a Gunston education. Hurry! Make your tax-deductible gift or pledge by December 31st.
