The 2019 Gunston Players present Radium Girls by D. W. Gregory. Friday, February 15th at 7 p.m., Saturday, February 16th at 7 p.m. and Sunday, February 17th at 2 p.m.

The Gunston School Robotics Team competed in the FTC (FIRST Tech Challenge) qualifier at the Universities Space Research Association (USRA) STEM Action Center in Columbia, Maryland on Sunday, February 3.

Gunston Art Students Show in Mid-Shore Student Art Exhibition

On February 6, the Easton Academy Museum held an opening reception for their Annual Mid-Shore Student Art Exhibition. This celebration highlights the artistic talents of K-12 students from Talbot, Caroline, Dorchester, and Queen Anne's counties.

From the College Guidance Office

Seniors and Families,
Mid-Year Reports for seniors, which includes your updated transcripts, were sent to all of the schools on your Colleges I'm Applying To lists on Friday, January 18th. It may take colleges 1-2 weeks to upload that information to your admissions portals.

Please remember to email me when you receive decisions regarding your college admission applications or scholarships you receive. This information will be used to assist future seniors in their college admissions process. Thanks to your help, they will have a better idea regarding their odds for acceptance at particular institutions and what they can anticipate when it comes to financing their education. Your personal information won't be shared with others, but the admissions and scholarship data will be extremely helpful to future classes. Thank you for your help with this!

Juniors and Families,

If you have not completed the College Guidance Questionnaire, please do so as soon as possible. There are sections for students and guardians to complete. Once both sections have been finished, please return them to me in person or via email so I can schedule your College Guidance Meeting. This will give me valuable information regarding what you're looking for in colleges or universities you would like to attend. It also gives me plenty of insights to add to your counselor recommendation letter, so please take the time to be thorough!

I have sent an email via Naviance with the form and uploaded it to the College 101 Google Classroom.

Summer Programs & Opportunities

American Legion Auxiliary Girls State
This year's American Legion Auxiliary Girls State will be held June 16-21, 2019 at Salisbury University for junior girls.

Completed applications should be emailed to: Christy Beville, Jeff Davis Post 18, Ladies Auxiliary Vice President at christy0220@gmail.com on or before March 15, or they may mail them to Christy Beville, 133 Stanford Rd, Centreville, MD 21617.
