Gunston Chorale Performs at Choral Festival Members of the Gunston Chorale participated in the Eastern Shore Choral Directors Association's (ESCDA) Choral Festival at Stephen Decatur High School on Wednesday, March 27. Each of the 18 choirs from high schools across the region performed three songs on the auditorium stage and were then evaluated in a separate room on their musical sight-reading skills. Adjudicators at the event included Dr. William Folger, Dr. John Wesley Wright, Ms. Cookie Brohawn, and Ms. Dollie Wright. Students take the feedback shared by these adjudicators to further their musical technique and expression in the classroom and in their future performances. The Gunston Chorale will sing two of their pieces at the upcoming Spring Concert on Wednesday, May 1 on the Gunston campus: "Till the Stars Fall from the Sky" and "Wide Open Spaces".
