Join us for an unforgettable evening at our annual Bull & Oyster Roast! Enjoy delicious BBQ by Phat Daddy's, savor fresh oysters from our shuckers, and sip on a signature cocktail while catching up with members of the Gunston Community. The night’s festivities include dancing, a live auction, raffle, wine pull, and beer truck. Our silent online auction kicks off Wednesday, October 16 and runs until Sunday, October 20. 

This year, Gunston has a special opportunity to raise funds for a matching $100,000 matching grant from the Edward E. Ford Foundation. This grant will boost our environmental education programs, including the Chesapeake Watershed Semester and Chesapeake Bay Studies. It will support our new 40-acre waterfront property with educational spaces, trails, and signage, and fund a van, kayaks, and trailer for field trips. An Environmental Scholars Fund will ensure all students can participate.

To unlock the grant, we need to raise $100,000. Proceeds from our live and silent auctions, auction raffle, and the “Stop the Auction & Raise the Paddle” segment will be dedicated to this initiative. Your generosity will make a significant difference, helping us to continue providing exceptional educational opportunities and programs for our students.
