Lace up your running shoes and hit the pavement to raise funds for the Heron Annual Fund. The Heron Hustle 5K/1 Mile Fun Run will take place on Gunston's waterfront campus. This event will kick off our Gunston Alumni Weekend - so come out and catch up with friends from years past. The class that has the most participants will receive Green & White Day points.
This is an in-person event, but don't worry, if you're unable to attend, you can still participate! (You just won't be eligible for prizes) Just indicate "virtual" on the sign-up form and we will mail you your t-shirt.
Prizes will be awarded to in-person runners in the following categories:
- 5K top 3 male (under 18 & 18+)
- 5K top 3 female (under 18 & 18+)
- 1M top 3 male (under 18 & 18+)
- 1M top 3 female (under 18 & 18+)
COST: Registration (includes t-shirt)
- $25 students, faculty/staff, and alumni
- $25 sponsor a faculty/staff registration
- $30 General Registration
In order to guarantee your t-shirt before October 1, you must register by September 10.
If you register after Sept. 10, the t-shirt can be ordered but may not arrive in time due to supply chain issues.
