Gunston Parents' Association
Welcome to the Parents' Association, a group to which all Gunston parents belong. Each school year, enthusiastic parents come together through the Parents Association to actively support the Gunston community. It's fun, the students appreciate it, and a great way to meet other parents! We hope that you find a way to join with us as we build on the special place that is Gunston.
About the GPA
The Parents' Association supports and enhances the school community through programs and activities involving parents, students, faculty, and staff. It also provides an open, ongoing two-way communication channel between the parents and administration of the School which benefits the School as well as the parents. The Parents' Association sponsors a number of activities and encourages parents to become involved in the planning, execution, and enjoyment of each one.

This tradition launches new students on their Gunston Experience. On the first day of school, all new students and faculty take a boat ride from the Centreville Wharf to Gunston, embarking them on their four year journey towards graduation. As they ascend the steps to campus they are welcomed by the entire Gunston community.
The Bull & Oyster Roast is our largest fundraiser of the year. We raise funds through live and silent auction sales, Raise the Paddle and the Corn Hole Tournament. This invaluable event directly benefits our students and faculty, supporting student programs, faculty development, athletics, technology and the arts to name a few.
